Dr. Vasiliki Diamantopoulou is a Post Doctoral Researcher at the Department of Information and Communication Systems Engineering at the University of the Aegean and a Senior Researcher at the Department of Digital Systems at the University of Piraeus. Currently, she is participating in a number of European H2020 projects, focusing on Security and Privacy Requirements in various environments (Cloud Computing, Connecting Vehicles). She has worked as a Research Fellow at the School of Computing, Engineering and Mathematics at the University of Brighton, UK.

She holds a Diploma in Product and Systems Design Engineering, an MSc in Management of Information Systems and a PhD in Information Systems and Innovation, from the Department of Information and Communication Systems Engineering, University of the Aegean, Greece.

Her public scientific work includes book chapters and one book. Moreover, her work has been published in journals and in the proceedings of international refereed conferences. The focus of her publications is on Privacy and Security of Information Systems, eGovernment and Interoperability Frameworks, and eBusiness and Innovation of Information Systems.
She has reviewed several journals and conference papers.
She has eight-year experience in managing several National and EU funded R&D projects from a research and an administrative viewpoint.
She is a member of the IEEE, the IEEE Computer Society, and the British Computer Society (BCS).

She is certified ISO 27001:2013 Lead Auditor by TÜV Austria Hellas and Data Protection Officer (DPO) Executive by TÜV Austria Hellas.

Yannis Charalabidis is Full Professor of Digital Governance and Entrepreneurship at the University of the Aegean, based in Samos, Greece. He is heading the MSc on Digital Innovation and Entrepreneurship. He has more than 25 years of experience in designing, implementing and managing complex information systems, 10 of which as general manager in Singular Group, leading company expansion in Greece, Europe, Asia and the US.  He has published more than 10 books and 300 papers in international journals and conferences, and actively participates in international scientific and policy making bodies. Yannis has been teaching as an invited professor at UC Berkeley, TU Delft, Stevens Institute NY, State University NY, University of Washington, City University Hong Kong, Swinburne University Melbourne, Wollongong University Australia and Thapar University in India, Montreal and Laval Universities in Canada. In 2018, he was included in the “100 most influential people in Digital Government”, by the Apolitical Group. In 2022, he was ranked as the 6th most prolific author in Digital Governance, among 10,000 authors, by the Washington University survey.

Dr. Euripidis Loukis is an Associate Professor of Information Systems and Decision Support Systems at the Department of Information and Communication Systems Engineering, University of the Aegean. Formerly he has been Information Systems Advisor at the Ministry to the Presidency of the Government of Greece, Technical Director of the Program of Modernization of Greek Public Administration of the Second Community Support Framework and National Representative of Greece in the programs ‘Telematics’ and ‘IDA’ (Interchange of Data between Administrations) of the European Union. He is the author of numerous scientific articles in international journals and conferences; one of them has been honoured with the International Award of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers – Controls and Diagnostics Committee. His current research interests include e-government, e-participation, information systems value/impacts and internal/external determinants, business process adaptation and medical decision support systems.

Charalampos Alexopoulos is an assistant professor of open data governance at the Department of Information and Communications Systems Engineering at the University of the Aegean. His research and teaching interest lies in the domains of Smart Cities, Citizens Science, Data Management, AI&ML, Interoperability and Digital Governance having published more than 180 research studies in international scientific conferences and journals. He is also a founding member of the Digital Government Research Center of the University of the Aegean, working on HORIZON, CEF, ERASMUS and National funded research and pilot application projects for governments and enterprises. He is the course manager of the “Open & Collaborative Governance” summer school of the University of the Aegean. In 2015, Harris was ranked as one of the most prolific researchers in open data research by Hossain, Dwivedi and Rana (2015).

Dr. Spyros KOKOLAKIS is a Professor in the Department of Information and Communication Systems Engineering of the University of the Aegean. He holds a B.Sc. (Informatics) and a Ph.D. (Information Systems) from the Athens University of Economics & Business (GR). His research interests include: Information Systems Security Management, Information Privacy and Data Protection, and Business Information Systems. He is an author of several refereed papers in international scientific journals and conferences. He has participated in several EU funded R&D Projects in the area of Information Systems. He has also participated in information security projects for several organizations, including the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, EKO-ELDA Petroleum S.A., National Insurance Foundation (ΙΚΑ), Ministry of Finance, Neuropublic S.A. and other. He is a certified ISO9001 and ISO22301 auditor.

Dr. Maria Karyda holds a PhD in Information Systems Security Management, a M.Sc. in Information Systems and a B.Sc. in Informatics from the Athens University of Economics and Business, Greece. She is currently Assistant Professor with the University of the Aegean, Department of Information and Communication Systems Engineering. Her research interests lie in the fields of organizational and human aspects of information security management, including employee security behaviour, awareness and culture, security policies, and privacy protection. Dr Karyda has participated in EU funded R&D projects and her published work includes more than forty refereed papers in international academic journals and conferences.
