Dr. Callia Anastasopoulou is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of the Aegean. She holds an M.Sc.in Technologies and Management of Information and Communication Systems” in 2009 and a Ph.D. in Privacy Decision-Making in 2016 from the Department of Information and Communication Systems Engineering, University of the Aegean. She has worked as an information systems consultant for several years ans as a visiting research fellow at University of Bristol, UK. She is a member of ACM, AIS, IAPP and the American Economic Association (AEA). Her research interests lie at the overlap of information technology, society and decision-making. They include, primarily, the behavioral decision-making of information privacy and security, and privacy in online networks.She is interested in the economic impact of privacy protection the relations between privacy and economic rationality, and the dichotomy between expressed privacy attitudes and actual revealed behavior.
