Vasileios Nikitaras is an Associate Researcher and Software Engineer at the Information Systems Laboratory (ISL), Department of Information and Communication Systems Engineering at the University of the Aegean. He holds an Integrated Master’s degree (M.Eng.) in Information and Communication Systems Engineering and is currently a postgraduate student in the MBA in Digital Innovation and Startup Entrepreneurship. His research and technical focus centers on Artificial Intelligence regulatory compliance (EU AI Act compliance), RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures, Large Language Model (LLM) orchestration, and modern web information systems development.
