Interview with Professor Demosthenes Vouyioukas

In 2012, Prof. Demosthenes Vouyioukas gave an interview to Samos TV about the program PEDION24. The scope of PEDION24 is to inform the public about the levels of electromagnetic radiation in various areas of Greece. Monitoring stations measure on a 24-hour basis the total electromagnetic field emitted from different sources such as FM and television broadcasts and cellular telephony base stations, giving the ability to the public of immediate and reliable information regarding the levels of electromagnetic radiation at any time. The data collected from the stations are stored on a database and can be viewed at any time. The system is operating all over Greece. Locations of monitoring stations are carefully chosen to cover places of special interest (schools, hospitals, nurseries and areas with high population density).
