Electromagnetic radiation measurements and studies from all types of antenna emissions with the confidence and reliability of an ELOT EN ISO / IEC 17025 accredited laboratory.
The measurements shall be carried out by specialized staff of the Computer and Communications Systems Laboratory of the University of the Aegean, in order to record the levels of emitted electromagnetic radiation and to determine whether or not their compliance with the general public’s exposure limits, as defined in Article 31 of Law 3431 (Official Government Gazzette Issue 13/A/03-02-2006) On Electronic Communications and in Articles 2-4 of No. 53571/3839 (Official Government Gazette Issue 1105/Β/ 6-9-2000) Joint Minesterial Decision of the Ministers of Development, the Environment, Planning and Public Works, Health and Welfare, Transport and Communications, on “Measures to Prevent the Public from Operating onshore Antennas”. In the context of quality policy, the Computer and Communication Systems Laboratory of the University of the Aegean is accredited by the National Accreditation Council (ESYD – No. 824-3) to conduct high frequency electromagnetic field measurements in accordance with the requirements of ELOT EN ISO/IEC 17025.
Measurements shall be performed according to ELOT EN 61566:1999, ELOT 1422-3:2007 and CEPT ECC/REC/(02) 04.
